I got the Galaxy tab 2 because I was wanting an iPad or something similiar for easy use both inside and outside the home, I was very impressed with the display and found it makes a good alternative to a laptop, I have found myself using it to read books, browse websites and watch videos. It is a simple to use, smart device and I am more than satisfied with it, the price is a lot but for all that you can do it is not too bad. I found the front camera to be a good feature however had some difficulties using it on skype, not sure why and I was also unhappy that I had to download various extra plugins to enable me to watch certain videos or online tv on this andriod device so for novices then its not ideal. The sound is also not ideal so im looking for some kind of docking system but for everything else it works fine, even games. Google play is a great and seemingly cheaper alternative to the apple store so im happy about that and I use my device daily to check out ebay and kindle.
Summary: great solution to an ipad and reasonable value for money, ideal as a portable device.
